We did many things together in HK as Architect and Engineer; starting with the Carlsberg Brewery which Mike directed, a couple of winning competitions, the Hebe Haven Yacht Club Extension and the HK Airport Cargo Handling Centre; before we retired.

Mike visited our 'Southbank" abode near Washington in 2004; noticed the Ospreys trying to build a nest which spurred us on to do the last project together: a 5 gal.bucket screwed to the underside of a piece of plywood. We rowed out to a wood piling and placed this bulky thing with the bucket capping the piling.

The Ospreys took over and built their nest and this has been a yearly recurrence, the same couple returning in Spring for the past 12 years: much to our enjoyment and to the neighborhood's praise; and now a remembrance of Mike our best friend
